CIYIS is seeking a Agile Coach to join our team in a remote role to support the rollout and furtherance of agile system development activities. This position contributes to the assessment, design, build, and deployment of enterprise-wide IT solutions utilizing industry best practices. You will be part of a highly innovative fast-paced team, incorporating and inventing emerging software technologies to deliver best practice IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicits, analyzes, validates and documents business, organizational and/or operational requirements to support the business needs of stakeholders.
  • Establishes processes for managing a portfolio of work in an Agile way.
  • Drives strategic change across the organization for adoption of Agile techniques.
  • Embeds an Agile culture using techniques from a wide range of Agile and Lean methodologies and frameworks.
  • Enables stakeholders to find accurate and current project or program status, without disruption to delivery.
  • Applies the best tools and techniques to team roles, behaviors, structure and culture, Agile ceremonies and practices, knowledge transfer and sharing, program management, cross-team coordination, and overall governance of digital service delivery.
  • Ensures key metrics and requirements that support the team and delivery are well defined and maintained.
  • Equips staff with the ability to coach others.
  • Develops solutions driven by requirements and supported by data to include statistical analysis, research design and decision support in order to improve decision making and business practices at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide over the shoulder support to junior team members, as needed.


Educational & Work Qualifications:

  • Experience with the DoD and/or Federal Civilian community with agile software development efforts.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Must have an undergraduate degree, preferably in organizational design, communications, and/or related field(s).
  • Experience demonstrating relevant tools and techniques such as coaching, advising, workshops, and mentoring.
  • Experience at the Organization level, executive coaching on the fundamental considerations of digital service delivery design.
  • Demonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documents.
  • Experience with using Microsoft SharePoint portal sites and providing document management support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment.
  • Possess an acute awareness of organizational cultures and political savvy.
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach or equivalent.
  • Not able to provide sponsorship. Must be able to maintain a government clearance.
